Hello everyone, I’m Hesty, and I want to share a few interesting facts about myself and the story behind my song—how I came up with this idea in the first place.

I’ve been studying vocals since I was 7 years old. I attended a music school where I specialized in piano for three years, and I can also play the ukulele. 🙂

When I was 12, I flew to Israel. I’d wanted to write my own song for a very long time and had even tried writing lyrics!

One day, my mom and I were riding the bus, and I told her how much I wanted to study vocals again (I had taken a break at the time) and eventually write a song. Mom said she would find a teacher for me.

A week later, Mom came to me and showed me Masha Mati’s Instagram, saying that Masha teaches vocals and also has a project called Create Your Own Song. I immediately said I wanted to try working with her.

So, I started vocal lessons with Masha. We hit it off right away—she even called me “laughable” because I laugh a lot during class, haha. When Masha mentioned that we could not only create a song but also release it on major platforms, my eyes lit up. I set a clear goal for myself: to fulfill my dream of becoming a singer.

Three months passed. During that time, we worked on many songs and even recorded a cover in honor of my older sister’s birthday.

Finally, on June 1, we began writing my own song. Despite birthdays, flights, and other events along the way, we stayed focused and kept moving forward.

The message I wanted to convey in my song is this: every person already has everything they need within themselves. Even if you don’t have friends or a soul mate, it doesn’t mean you’re lonely. You just need to learn how to be with yourself and realize that you are complete as you are.
