Initially, I came to Masha just to take vocal lessons and sing for my own pleasure. I was very lucky to find a great teacher who not only lives in my small town but is also very approachable and kind.
I have been involved in singing my whole life, so I immediately noticed Masha’s professionalism and passion for her work. The first song we worked on together was Amy Winehouse’s Friends, which is quite challenging in itself. However, the lessons with Masha were conducted in a comfortable and supportive environment, and it was truly fascinating to dissect and learn such a complex song.
After perfecting the song, Masha and I decided to go to a recording studio to record it. The recording session went very smoothly, and Masha casually said to me, “Would you like to record your own song?”
At first, we laughed about it, but then I started seriously considering the idea and eventually agreed to the project. I even had a clear vision of what I wanted, and I knew it had to be in English. When I approached Masha with this idea, she helped me shape and articulate the concept. Since I’m not fluent in English, Masha also assisted me in writing the lyrics, for which I’m incredibly grateful!
Today, my song has already been released. It has become the most precious and beautiful song I have ever heard. This project was an excellent investment, and I have no doubts about it. It carries a piece of my soul, and that can truly be felt.
Masha and I put in an enormous amount of effort, and I wholeheartedly thank her for being an amazing vocal teacher and a person who dedicates herself entirely to her craft!
